Sebastopol Senior Center Wins National Honor

The Sebastopol Senior Center was recognized by the National Association of Counties Conference with a 2011 Achievement Award for its Volunteer Driver Transportation Program.  The Senior Center undertakes that program in partnership with Sonoma County Human Services, Sonoma County Area Agency on Aging and the Russian River Senior Resource Center.  The City is certainly fortunate to have the Senior Center and while we know how important all of their programs are for citizens of Sebastopol of all ages, its nice to see the Center recognized for the great work that they do.  The City congratulates Senior Center Executive Director, Terry Kelley and all of the volunteers who make all of the Center's projects and programs successful.
