We have BEGGED Sebastopolians not to flush wipes. If you click the image below, you will see what happens when this request is ignored. This is an actual photo of 1.5 cubic yards of non-biodegradable personal wipes that were removed from a Sebastopol sewer pump station by a human being BY HAND on September 29. Our pumping system is not designed to handle these types of cloth debris. Maintenance staff must remove this debris and physically haul it out BY HAND so that you can continue to flush your toilet.

Please, people…. STOP FLUSHING WIPES!
