Ride the Free Bus. Meet a Buddy!

Ride the Free Bus. Meet a Buddy!

Wednesday May 22:  Carolyne Stayton from Transition US

Carolyne-Stayton.jpgCarolyne imagines a world that works for everyone and one of the ways she helps bring this idea to life is by supporting community-building efforts in all shapes and sizes. Bus Buddies is one of those!
Another is a project that Transition US is developing with Renton Washington's Emergency Manager. That project is called "Ready Together" - a curriculum that neighbors go through together to get their households prepared for emergencies of any kind. It compliments existing programs.

Ask Carolyne about "Ready Together"!

About the Bus Buddies Program:
Each Wednesday morning, March 20 through the month of May, riders of the free Local Shuttle #24 will have a chance to meet a local community leader.  This is the perfect opportunity for new riders to try out the shuttle and for seasoned riders to meet a new friendly face. See more information here.
