Sonoma SBA Declaration (March 16, 2020)
On March 16, 2020, the U.S. Small Business Administration declared Sonoma County, and several others, a disaster area. This declaration is a result of economic impacts caused by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 beginning January 31, 2020, and continuing.
FOR BUSINESSES: Sonoma County small businesses are now eligible to apply for financial assistance due to COVID-19 and should contact the SBA directly to continue the next step of the process. Application deadline is December 16, 2020.

The Northern California Small Business Development Center (SBDC) has launched a new telephone and email hotline for businesses to contact for quick answers to their financial questions. SBDC Financial Counselors are on hand to answer questions about business loan options, filling out forms, etc.

Resources for Reopening Businesses
Sonoma County Economic Development Board (EDB) has announced a new online portal featuring resources for re-opening businesses: SoCo Launch, includes resources to safely and successfully re-open your business, in accordance with the latest Public Health Order. This guide is aimed to help business owners understand at what point they may be able to re-open for consumers amidst the four phases outlined by the State of California.
Napa-Sonoma Small Business Development Center(SBDC)
The regional SBDC offers free Small Business assistance, through individualized and confidential one-on-one advising for existing businesses with information and application guidance for the various SBA CARES Act Relief programs.
